By Caring & Sharing we spread the Word & Love of God to others by His Grace.

"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.'"     John 11:25-26

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."     1 Timothy 4:12

The Vision

  • ... to show the youth God's love, connect them to caring relationships, provide opportunities for spiritual growth and worship, show the youth the value and blessings that come from servant leadership, enable youth to see their role in the Body of Christ, equip them to "Always be prepared to give an answer ... for the hope that you have," and to challenge the youth to reach out to the lost and needy. (1 Peter 2:9; 1 Peter 3:15; Matthew 28:18-20)

Connecting to our Values

  • The Youth Ministry at Calvary is currently connecting what we offer and teach to what the congregation has identified as our five core values.

How You Can Impact Our Youth!

  • Teaching Bible Study
  • Driving for events
  • Event Planning and Leading
  • Praying for each youth
  • Donating time, helping with events and studies
  • Connecting with a youth weekly and showing how much you care

The Need for Parental Involvement:

  • The church will, in most cases, have a greater impact on a youth with the leadership and cooperation of the parents and other adults that can have lasting impact. As much as youth might not want to admit it, parents need to have a visible role in the program to show their support and involvement in something the youth view as important. If you, as a parent, see Christian growth for yourself as a top priority, you can expect your youth to see it as a priority.
