Pastor Klinck, having ably served the congregation of the Calvary Lutheran Church for ten years, was released in 1939 to assume the presidency of Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Illinois. (Pastor Klinck lived until August 9, 1959, when he went to be with the Lord.) The Rev. Alfred T. Scheips succeeded Pastor Klinck but soon after his assignment at Calvary was released in 1942 to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Pastor W.W. Koenig then succeeded Reverend Schieps. | ||||||||||||||||
