Are you a little nervous about, or even a little afraid of, attending church for the first time? Do you have lots of questions about our church or what is expected of you? Do you wonder if you can bring your children, or that they may be too noisy? Do you wonder what the service is like and that you perhaps won't know what to do? Hopefully, we can answer a few of your questions so your first visits are not as intimidating. We want your visit to be beneficial and relaxing. We certainly want you to visit Calvary Lutheran Church. You will hear about our Lord Jesus Christ, God with us! You will hear about His grace and love and all that He has done for us. Worship Each church has its own style of worship. Here at Calvary, we offer both traditional and contemporary forms of worship. Our 8:00 AM services every Sunday, and our 10:30 AM services on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays are traditional services with traditional hymns accompanied by the organ. The 10:30 AM service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays we call an Adoration Service which has contemporary music led by a praise team. All these services center around the Word of God and focus our attention on Him. Each week, the service is printed in the Worship folder. All the readings and prayers are printed there for you as well. You are welcome to bring your own Bible and follow along there if you choose. Location We're located at 2788 Franklin St. (the corner of 28th St. and Franklin St.) or two blocks north and one block east of the corner of 27th and South St. in Lincoln, Nebraska.
