By Caring & Sharing we spread the Word & Love of God to others by His Grace.

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."    Ephesians 2:10

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."    1 Peter 2:9

"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."    Ephesians 4:11-13

The Vision

  • God calls his people to serve Him and each other, some as Pastors, Teachers, Missionaries and some as Worship servants. As one Body, the Priesthood of all Believers, no one higher than any other, but every member strengthening the whole Body to accomplish the good works Christ has prepared for us before eternity. (Based on Eph. 2 & 4)

Ministry of Acolytes

  • This service has its roots back to the early church, when secret services in homes and the catacombs needed light. This office is highly visible and impacts the worship sanctuary with ancient light and a reminder of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and Jesus as the Light of the World.

Ministry of Ushers & Greeters

  • As members, visitors and seekers arrive for worship, these servants are the first to be warm, welcoming and caring. They also help with different areas of the service, which allows the congregation to keep focused on worshipping our Savior.

Ministry of Music Leaders

  • Besides the organists, pianists, praise team and choir, we desire to implement gifted members in solos and even dramatic readings. If you feel called and gifted in these areas, pray about Psalm 150 in your life.

Ministry of Scripture Readers

  • Once reserved for called Pastors only, we believe lay members can offer a service to God and Calvary by studying, practicing and reading the Old Testament and Epistle readings. By modeling scripture reading, we proclaim we are a Bible based ministry and part of the Priesthood of all believers.

Ministry of Teachers

  • We also worship God through our continual faith growth and growing in love and reverence for Him. Our teachers, from preschool to adults, have been empowered by Christ to lead in a very important and unique way. Many people say they can't do it, but as many of our current teachers know, with Christ all things are possible.

Ministry of Property Caretakers

  • We worship and learn in God's house and ,as we respect it, a servant attitude can lead us to help in areas such as straightening pew racks, picking up, helping with attendance, the outside landscaping, computer maintenance and many other possibilities.
